2013 Activity 2 : Create Gmail Account

1. Open browser.
2. Type "g mail" on the search area.
3. Click Gmail: Email from Google

4. Click on “create an account” link.

5. You must fill in:
- Name
- Username
- Password
- confirm password
- Birthday
- Gender

* Your username is your email address.
** Mobile phone and “your current email address” are not necessary to be filled.

6. Key in the verification text that is shown on the screen.

7. Tick the 1st and 2nd box before the “next step” button.

8. When finish, proceed by clicking on the “next step” button found at the bottom right of the page.

9. Select “Malaysia” by clicking on the flag icon.

10. Key in your phone number and click on “continue” button to proceed to next step.

11. Wait for the sms that sends the verification code. Key in the verification code on the space provided and click on the “continue” button.

12. Now you have completed the sign up process. You can proceed by setting up your profile for your Google account or click on “next step” button to skip.

Reminder: If you use a shared PC please log out from google account before you exit your browser. You can see your email address at the top right of your page. To sign out, click on the “Sign out” link. This is to prevent others to hack into you Google account.
